Setup, Maintenance, and Real-World Drawbacks (Assembly, Propane Hookup, Weather Care)
When you unpack the BAIDE HOME 48-inch fire table, you’ll find assembly is straightforward but not trivial: the steel body and 304 stainless burner are hefty (about 93 lbs), so recruit a helper to set the pedestal and connect the pre-attached 10 ft commercial-grade propane hose to a standard 20 lb external tank (not included). You’ll appreciate clear steps; tighten fittings, test for leaks, then learn flame control. Practice propane safety, keep friends nearby while lighting, and follow storage tips for the tank and lid. Use seasonal covers and follow winterizing procedures to prevent rust and preserve shared outdoor moments. Many homeowners convert their backyard units with propane conversion kits to improve efficiency and fit into existing propane setups.

Some Questions Answered
Is a Natural Gas Conversion Kit Available for This Model?
No — the manufacturer doesn’t list a natural conversion for this model. You’re encouraged to stick with propane alternatives like the included 20 lb tank hookup or seek a certified professional to install a custom natural gas conversion, but that’ll void warranties unless seller-approved. If belonging to a DIY or homeowner group, check with BAIDE HOME or an authorized dealer for compatible kits or installation guidance so you can safely shift fuel sources together.
What Warranty Length and Coverage Details Does BAIDE HOME Provide?
Baide Home typically offers limited warranty terms covering manufacturing defects for a specified period; you’ll need to check your seller listing for exact length. Coverage specifics usually include structural components and burner defects but exclude normal wear, misuse, and corrosion from improper care. You’ll want to register your product, keep your receipt, and contact the seller for precise warranty terms, start date, and any claim procedures so you feel supported.
Can the Unit Be Used Indoors or in Enclosed Patios?
No — you shouldn’t use this unit indoors or in enclosed patios; indoor restrictions and ventilation requirements prohibit propane fire tables in confined spaces. You’ll want to keep it outdoors where fresh air disperses combustion gases and carbon monoxide. If you’re creating a cozy shared space, follow local codes, make certain unobstructed airflow, use a proper 20 lb tank outside, and keep the rain cover and lid off while it’s operating for safety and belonging.
Are Replacement Glass Beads or Burner Parts Sold Separately?
Yes — you can get replacement beads and burner spares separately. You’ll want to contact BAIDE HOME or the seller to order official replacement beads, and ask about specific burner spares like the 304 stainless burner or control parts. If you’re part of the owner community, you’ll find friendly advice and compatible third‑party options too, but stick with OEM parts when possible for fit and safety.
What Is the Shipping Weight and Packaging Dimensions?
The package weight is about 92.6–93 lbs and the shipping dimensions match the unit’s footprint, roughly 48″ L x 24″ W x 16″ H. You’ll see shipping dimensions and package weight listed so you can plan help with lifting and delivery.
